There hasn't been an update for a long time. Reason enough. make up for it. In February we already announced that we are working on a customer-specific mapping for cXML and on the internationalization of PunchCommerce. We have now been able to complete these two projects. In the following we would like to briefly explain more about this.
Internationalization
The PunchCommerce interface is now also available in English. In this way, we were able to make your work easier in the international arena. Perhaps you have already discovered our new button at the top right, with which you can easily switch the language to English. We have also implemented the specification of different currencies within the field mapping, so you can conveniently use PunchCommerce within the EU.
Duplicate Customers
With this function you can easily duplicate existing customers and then edit them. This makes your work easier if, for example, you have customers who have a similar structure and only small adjustments are necessary. With the copy function, you don't have to enter everything manually from the beginning, but can simply continue to edit an existing data record.
Duplicate Field Mappings
The principle of the copy function for field assignments is similar to the copy function for customers. With field assignments, you now have the option of simply copying existing data records and editing them accordingly. We would like to make your work easier and speed up your entries within the field assignments.
Export Customer Data
Article 20 of the GDPR provides a right to data portability. We meet this with our new export function. As a registered user, you have the option in the data protection area to export all customer data as a JSON file in order to use it in a third-party system.
Logos in PunchOut catalogues
You can now upload your logo in the PunchCommerce interface. This will then be displayed in the corresponding catalogues. Thus we can guarantee you a recognition value.
Enterprise customers only: Use of configuration groups
For enterprise customers with many active end customers in the system, we have developed the "configuration groups" function. With configuration groups, multiple customers share the same PunchOut configuration. For example, you must For example, when using the OCI or cXML gateway function, you no longer need to maintain the identical shop URL for each customer. You can now do this centrally and then assign a configuration group to all customers.
