Since our last Journal update, there are three new features within PunchCommerce. One of them is the order preview as well as cXML orders - from Ariba® for example - for enterprise customers.
cXML orders and order preview for enterprise customers
Within our new function "Order preview for enterprise customers", current data such as invoice- and delivery address as well as payment method and other data can be checked once again before the order is transmitted.
Another new function is the processing of cXML orders from Ariba® for our Enterprise customers. Here you can receive orders from different cXML customers and at the same time define your own data format for our REST API. A complete step-by-step guide can be found here.
Similarly, we were able to rebuild the Swagger documentation for API endpoints. Get a comprehensive overview of the appropriate open source tools for PunchCommerce here. Click here to get to the overview.
Optimization within existing functions
In addition to creating new features, we've also made some improvements within PunchCommerce to make it even easier for you to use our SaaS solution.
Among other things, there is a new version for PunchCommerce in the Shopware store. This fixes a performance problem on the PunchOut page. We recommend this update to all our customers who have at least version 1.2.1 installed. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact us.
We have also made other improvements in the areas of field length validation and ticket notifications.
Current implemented improvements:
Field length validation for custom_fields implemented.
Ticket notifications for enterprise instances improved
Added support for cXML version 1.2.014
Error tolerance for returns from online stores increased (cXML return to OCI endpoint and vice versa)
